Ruach is defined as breath, spirit, or wind. It is used commonly in the Bible to refer to God's breath, which animates all living things. This body of work attempts to imagine God's breath through the infrared light that emits through living things. He gifts us his ruach while we are alive, and when we pass away, it is taken back. You can see it in the glowing leaves, feel it through the passing of the wind, and sense it in a crowd of people.
